Ronald E. Alley, age 50, departed this life on Sunday, May 9, 2010, at his home.

Ron was employed by Thermo-Fisher Scientific, Inc., as a Refrigeration Tech. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local #168. He was a Scout Leader for the Boy Scouts Troop #200, at the Sand Hill United Methodist Church. Ron was very active at the First Church of the Nazarene.

Ron is survived by his wife Jo (Pfeiffer) Alley whom he married on January 31, 1986; his parents, Rex E. Alley, of Reno, OH and Mary L. (Stephens) Kelly of Marietta, OH; one son, Justin Alley, and one daughter, Sami Alley, both of the family home; two sisters, Debra Prim (Darrell), of Marietta, OH., and Beth Kelly Holmes, of Marietta, OH., and five brothers; Scott Kelly (Michelle) of Tampa, FL., Rodger E. Alley (Lisa), of Coca, FL., Robert P. Alley, of Mesa, AZ., Mark Kelly (Vickie), of Marietta, OH.,and Tom Kelly (Becky) of Grove City, OH., and his mother-in-law, Virginia Close, of Marietta, OH. Ron was preceded in death by his grandparents and father-in-law.

Viewing will be between 4-8 p.m, on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel. The funeral service will be held at the First Church of Nazarene on Millcreek Rd., Marietta, OH. on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Terry Schmelzenbach and Pastor Victor Marshall officiating. Ron will be taken to the church one hour before services. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Park in Reno, OH.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene at 100 Millcreek Rd., in Marietta, OH 45750, for their on-going youth outreach program, and/or the Boy Scout Troop #200, at the Sand Hill United Methodist Church 122 Brant Dr. Marietta, OH 45750. Ron loved his Lord and the study of His word. He was a loving Son, Husband, Brother and Uncle. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

At age 74, Mary died Per an email from Rex Alley, "Mary passed away early this morning at about 12:30 AM. She passed quietly as if in her sleep. Debbie was with her when she passed on.
     Debbie said that Mary had requested a private showing and funeral for the immediate family only. She didn't want to be laid out in public view as she put it. Debbie said they will grant her wishes. I'll send a copy of the Obituary out to all of you who knew her.
     Thanks for any and all prayers for the family. They were all very close." on 6 February 2011.4

"Mary Lou Kelly
     Mary Lou Kelly, beloved mother and grandmother closed this chapter of her life on February 6th, 2011, and awaits the resurrection promised to us in Thessalonians Chapter 4. Mary was born in Moundsville, WV and moved to Marietta in 1962. She retired from Kardex as a steel worker in the 1980's.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Bertha L. Stephens. Two sisters, Barbara Stephens and Helen Cook, and one brother, Carl Stephens. Her husband Robert G. Kelly, and son, Ronald E. Alley.
     She is survived by one sister, Bertha Sue Riggs of Moundsville, WV. Five children survive, Debra L. (Darrell) Prim of Marietta; Scott K. (Michelle) Kelly of Tampa, FL; Bethanna Holmes of Marietta; Tom (Becky) Kelly of Grove City; and Mark (Vickie) Kelly of Marietta. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Jo Alley and first husband and friend, Rex E. Alley, both of Marietta.
     She leaves behind fifteen devoted grandchildren, Gary (Julia) Prim, David (Katie) Prim, Andrew (Lacey) Prim; Justin and Sami Alley; Gary, Jessie, and Jordan Kelly; Hannah and Zachary Holmes; Laura, Thomas Jr., and Jennifer Kelly; Dustin and Tyler Kelly, as well as eight great-grandchildren, each of whom have been touched by her love and devotion.
     Mary loved spending time with her family and enjoyed traveling. She was a voracious reader and had a great thirst for knowledge. Mary was a Christian and looked forward to seeing her Saviour face-to-face when He gathers the saints together in the clouds of Glory (I Thess. 4:13-18). She will be sorely missed by all of her family and friends.
     Visitation will be on Tuesday evening (February 8th) from 7 until 9 at McClure-Schafer, Lankford Funeral Home, with private Memorial services on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with her nephew, Pastor Keith Riggle officiating. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Cemetery"
